Jiri Dusik holds an Engineering Degree from the Czech Technical University, Prague and has 25 years of experience in integration of environmental issues into planning and policy-making processes. He specializes on strategic environmental assessments and climate change mitigation and adaptation planning. His assignments so far involved services for clients in over 40 countries in Europe, Middle-East and Asia.
Jiri Dusik is currently works with the Ministry of Planning and Investments in Viet Nam as an UNDP’s International Technical Specialist for Green Growth and Sustainable Development. Prior joining UNDP, Jiri provided policy advisory services to various other UN bodies (UN Economic Commission for Europe, UN Environment, World Health Organisation), European Commission, OECD, World Bank and various bilateral cooperation agencies (Sida, Danida, GIZ, etc.).
