Former Executive Director
After his studies at Sciences Po Paris, Olivier Brechard worked for publishers as well as for communication groups such as TBWA, thus developing a strong editorial expertise across a wide range of media.
Since 2008, Olivier specializes in the design and management of global initiatives addressing the future of learning, notably as executive director of the World Innovation Summit for Education, WISE (www.wise-qatar.org). Olivier also advised a range of international programmes such as: Global Education Futures (www.edu2035.org), a foresight initiative lead by Russian universities; Open Education Challenge (www.openeducationchallenge.eu), an incubator for edtech startups launched in 2014 with the support of the European Commission; Learning Without Frontiers (UK); MBR Smart Learning Programme in Dubai (smartlearning.gov.ae/).
Olivier currently is the general manager of WebForce3 (www.wf3.fr), a new French and international network of 25 vocational schools that prepare youth and adults to emerging jobs in the digital economy. The innovative model of WebForce3 helps prepare learners from at risk populations (unemployed, for instance) to notably become web developers and integrators in only 3 months (400-500 hours).
