Van Don – Special Administrative and Economic Zone: Sustainable City and Investment Opportunities
This workshop provides insights on how sustainable development principles and strategies can be applied to build a green, knowledge-based, innovation-driven, and most liveable city, but also raises issues, notably related to the Vietnamese problematic legal, regulatory and institutional frameworks. It takes Van Don – a special economic and administrative zone – as a case study, and sheds lights on investment opportunities for worldwide businesses.

This site visit is organised for potential investors, speakers and participants to explore the islands of Van Don on the edge of its development to become a special but sustainable administrative and economic zone.
