Deputy Minister of Planning and Investment
Dr. The Phuong Nguyen is the Deputy Minister of The Ministry of Planning and Investment of Vietnam. He is in charge of such important fields as: science, technology; educations; environmental resources; health care for mothers and children, activities related to youth, women, population and families; labor, culture, information and communication; socio-economic forecasts; and especially sustainable development.
On scientific field, Vice Minister The Phuong Nguyen is the Chairman of the Scientific Council and in charge of scientific research of the Ministry of Planning and Investment of Vietnam and is the Chairman of the MPI’s Initiative Council.
